After a huge amount of research on a new orthopaedic bed for my arthritic senior furbaby I settled on the Ultimate Dog Bed. Unfortunately there was a carrier issue but this was quickly resolved by Neil @ Barker & Bray, customer service at its finest! Now to the bed itself. Beautifully made and sumptuous, this is the Rolls Royce of beds. Of course I had the usual initial suspicion that you get from a doggy, even taking the treats I had laid out, but eventually Jesse James ventured in and very quickly decided that it’s even better than my bed! More importantly he doesn’t seem as stiff so the mattress is giving him the support his previous lumpy bed didn’t! Happy doggy and happy owner!
A great hands-on business.
I was fully expecting a period of attrition as Toby has rejected new dog beds in the past. However after a few suspicious sniffs he took to his lovely new bed immediately. He’s a senior dog now and this bed gives him more space to stretch out and is so supportive. Fantastic quality, we are both happy.

The bags were a free gift with the Comfort bed, so can't comment on value for money but the plastic clip on the bag dispenser snapped on second use (taking it off the lead). Replaced it with a clip from a cheap dispenser from a bargain shop which seems a bit more robust (metal clip, not plastic). Other than that, the bags seem quite thick and decent quality.
