No, and we are careful about the difference. The beds use a fabric that works with their body temperature. The throw is two surfaces, a warmer fleece and a cooler water-resistant side, and you turn it over to suit the weather.

We bought a Baker & Bray dog bed for our Golden Retriever puppy and it’s been a great purchase. After a few minutes of sizing up this stange new object, she climbed straight in and settled like she’d been waiting for it. The padding is thick and supportive, perfect for growing joints, and the fabric feels really durable despite her constant wriggling and digging. Absolutely brilliant for a Golden Retriever pup. Downside? We keep finding her treats buried in the folds!
I am non-plussed with this blanket, as are my two cavaliers. The smooth side feels like plastic - my doggies won't stay on it at all. Maybe, they will appreciate the fleece side in cooler weather. We shall see.
Lovely blanket. Flynn loves the winter side , seems to prefer his bed now to the sofa! Nicely made, easy care. You get what you pay for.

Princess loves her blankie xx she shoves her nose right into the fluffy side at night and the cooling side seems to work for her during the day. I need to buy another so she has a changeout when I wash it
