Care and maintenance

Easy to keep fresh.

The cover unzips and goes in the washing machine.

  1. Dry-brush surface dirt and wipe marks with a damp cloth.
  2. Open the hidden zip and take the cover off.
  3. Machine wash the cover on its own, cold and delicate, at no more than 30°C.
  4. Tumble dry on low heat, or air dry.
  5. Do not bleach and do not iron.
  6. The mattress inside stays in the bed: spot clean it if you need to.
  7. Keep away from fire.

Only the removable cover is washed. Third-party fabric cleaners are used at the owner’s discretion.

  • One Comfy Spaniel!

    Fergus absolutely loves his new bed. Previous beds seem to flatten when he rests his head on the sides but this one seems very supportive. I am hoping that this bed will last for ages since the covers can be removed completely for washing. I’m not sure how long the covers will take to dry after washing as the bed is new and not needing to be washed yet. I had thought of purchasing a spare set of covers, however they are nearly as expensive as the full bed so we will just need to make do with one set just now.

How is The Comfort different from The Ultimate?

Both are handmade in Europe with memory foam and a 30-night risk-free trial. The Comfort costs less. The Ultimate adds interchangeable spare covers, a removable mattress you can use in a crate or when travelling, eleven colours and a larger size for the biggest dogs.

Which size is right for my dog?

Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail while lying naturally, and choose the larger bed if they are between sizes. XS is 60cm long, S/M 80cm and L 100cm.

Can I wash it?

Yes. The cover unzips and machine washes on a cold, delicate setting at no more than 30°C, and it can be tumble dried on low heat.

Do the Ultimate spare covers fit The Comfort?

No. Spare covers are made for The Ultimate and do not fit The Comfort.

How does the 30-night risk-free trial work?

If your dog is not completely comfortable in the first 30 nights, return the bed for a full refund. We ask for a genuine trial of at least 14 days. The published trial terms apply.

How quickly will it arrive?

How does the memory foam help regulate temperature?

The beds use individually cut memory-foam pieces rather than one solid block. The spaces between the pieces allow air to move through the cushion, helping to disperse warmth and manage moisture vapour as they rest.

Is the fabric hypoallergenic?

The outer fabric is non-toxic and hypoallergenic, made from recycled PET bottles and tested to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Product Class II for products that come into contact with skin.

Are the beds waterproof?

The inner protective pouches or protector help protect the foam from everyday moisture. They are not a substitute for a fully waterproof cover unless the specific product is described as waterproof.

Can the covers be washed and dried?

The relevant removable covers can be washed at 30°C and tumble-dried on a low heat setting. Follow the care instructions for the specific product.
